Build a Sustainable Body – Weekend Series

Join Michelle for this weekend workshop series using  the breath and a ball to free your knees and shoulders.

Yamuna® Method is a practice combining mindful movement and self-care that is open to any fitness level and developed to prevent/resolve injury. Using soft balls of varying sizes, you will learn to effectively work every part of your body to activate and align muscles and bones. The balls become like a practitioner’s hands, as they use traction to release chronic tension, get into hidden spaces and re-establish length and space.

This work is great for men, women, athletes, advanced and beginners, and is a great compliment to your current yoga practice. Join us to learn how to use this powerful technique to problem-solve for your own body so you can feel better at every age.

Balls will be provided for use during the workshop and can be purchased afterward for special workshop price. This work is for all body types and will be done seated or lying on the floor. Yoga-type clothing is recommended. Please bring your mat.

Free Your Knees

Learn how to release restrictions in upper and lower leg to relieve strain on the knees. Even very “bendy” people often have problems in the knees. Build strength and realign the bones from hip to ankle and make space in the knee joint so you can keep moving for a lifetime!

 

Sunday, Nov. 11th 11am-1pm
Raise Your Hands!

Raise your hand if you find it difficult to fully extend your arms overhead. Limited range of motion in the shoulder can cause problems in the neck, elbows and hands.  We will roll through the entire arm and upper body, from chest to fingertips. Use this powerful technique to problem solve for your body and keep raising your hands high!

Counts as CE hours for Yoga Alliance. Certificates provided upon request.

Tuition: $40 each/$70 for both through 11/3.
